5 November 2015

I've been searching for a blazer for a while now, and I finally bought one from Zara! I actually bought this jacket about five hours before these pictures were taken. It was our last day in Toronto. We did a final round of shopping, before going to the cinema and then enjoying a meal out.

I find blazers really practical in fall and winter for layering. I can wear one over a jumper and under a coat, providing me with an extra layer of warmth. It also smartens up any look! I also made sure to invest in some roll neck jumpers, as I've been warned about the oncoming hellish weather. (My wardrobe is NOT ready for -20' weather just yet) You can never have too many loose stripey tops, right? This one from Urban Outfitters is so comfortable, I love the sleeve length and the neckline. The shopper bag also from Urban Outfitters is a great buy, you can fit so much stuff in it. Whenever I spend a day shooting pictures, my shoulders and neck tend to ache and cramp up towards the end of the day because of it's weight, so being able to put it away is a big relief.

Holly is wearing this awesome midi pleated skirt from Zara. We were initially unsure about it, but as soon as we tried it on we fell in love with it. It's such a great piece for fall, as it can be worn with a shirt, cropped jumper, blazer or even a simple tee. So far, it's only be styled with ankle boots, but it looks great with docs too. These boots are surprisingly comfy. I walked 15k in them the day before and my feet were fine!

Hopefully Holly & I will be able to take a break from studying and travel to Toronto again soon.
