It was a chilly, windy day in London. We took Summer's pictures on the Thames Walk, before crossing over and walking through Borough Market, past Shakespeare's Globe and the Tate, over Blackfriars bridge and finally into the Underground. From Blackfriars station we had to decide on our next location- because I desperately wanted to hide from the cold gusts of wind coming off the Thames, whipping through our hair and clothes, now making any attempt of shooting a decent outfit picture futile. We ended up walking past Buckingham Palace towards Hyde Park, where we stopped off at Green Park to snap my pictures before the rain and darkness made an appearance.
I opted for culottes- the perfect piece to wear when you're fed up with jeans but not brave enough for tights- paired with this vintage style blouse with cape detail from Zara, which added a much needed pop of colour to an otherwise dull look. I wore my new black boots from Zara, a bargain at only £30!
I've said this before, but culottes really are a must have for everyone- good for work and evening wear, they can easily be dressed up or down at any time of the year. I love how perfectly they fit too, flattering your waist-line but loose on the legs.
I finished off this look with this 'masculine coat' from Zara, which again is perfect for work wear: with sharp shoulder lines, it definitely makes a good choice for interviews or formal occasions.
Hope you're all having a lovely week!
